Title:Silly
Name:Demetrios Demetriou
Description:
Here's our idea to screw business as usual; silly wants to redefine the entertainment industry by taking the focus away from profit and focusing on customers and the planet. We want to create a silly community where everyone is welcome and prejudice is obsolete. We want silly to make a positive change in the world and make Gaia Rock by educating people to look after themselves and the earth. We plan to transcend all logical boundaries of the seriously serious realm of industry and create an exceptionally silly world where everyone gets a chance to indulge in their silly nature.

Title:The KISS airship
Name:Gerold Utsch
Description:
The KISS airship is our idea to screw the transportation business as usual. Airships have the potential to penetrate and completely disrupt existing logistics markets like rail, truck, ship or air freight. Airships could do things cheaper, faster and much more environmentally friendly than traditional means of transport. The concept has been tested and proven with a small scale model airship. The next step is to build a large scale demonstrator using existing, low-tech, off-the-shelf technology. Then, after this prototype has gained credibility (and publicity), it can be quickly scaled up to potentially lift hundreds of tons.

Title:If Everyone Cares
Name:Jaki Bent
Description:
If Everyone Cares idea of screwing business as usual is to develop a unique Central Hub of information that brings all global community projects, charities and non-profits together in one place allowing everyone to re-invest their proven strategies and tools to benefit communities globally. Often, when people need help, they don’t know where to turn, IEC’s Global Community Map will pin-point these contacts and bring together needs and resources. It also allows people worldwide to see at a click which projects require volunteers and/or fundraising support. If Everyone Cares, Together We Can, Together We Will, Be the Decade of Change.

Anyone can offer to do a small service or task for $5 and the proceeds go to support non-profit organizations. Raise5.com

Title:Better Models Make Better Businesses
Name:Bill Crane
Description:
My idea to screw business as usual is to create new models for business. Businesses and corporations are failing society for the simple fact that they have no idea what society expects of them. They have no models to work from. They have default models that we simply accept. The current Occupy Wall Street people are so on track at identifying the problems, but don’t realize how close they are to the solution. The solutions are embedded in the problem. My video tells how to extract those solutions and how to create healthy, sustainable models for business.

Title:Building A World Without Offices
Name:Eddie Yu
Description:
Have you ever stopped to consider that office space is left empty over 70% of the time? My idea is to build a world without offices and it's an idea I've been working on for the last 9 months. I'm deeply passionate about it, not only because it gives people their freedom and lives back, it also helps to reduce the amount of CO2 impacting global warming.

Title:Screw Festivals as Usual
Name:Jason Chang
Description:
It's time for Worldwide Reforestation Festivals. My idea combines the fun festival platform with hands-on reforestation activities and is designed to inspire a reforestation domino effect across festivals around the world. The festival would be .Zero Waste. and all the unavoidable pollutant energy that goes into the festival would be outweighed by producing a natural system that outputs more energy than it took in. The reforested land would also be preserved and/or sustainably harvested.
